Ryedale archives

I have just recieved the minutes from all executive commity meetings from the begining of the District in 1949, AGM items, District campsite information, census forms and a book containing names of scouters in the district from the early days. It all makes very good reading and is a great addition to the Display of Ryedale in February.

All in all its been a productive day, this display will be the first of its kind there hasn't been a display on Ryedale of my knowledge to date. I'll keep you informed of when the Display is on.

Wolf Cub Totem restoration project.

The Wolf Cub Totem is nearly restored to its original state. This totem was in use from the early 1920s, right up to the early 1980s. It has the original Pole and but replacement ribbons below the head. See the difference between when I dug it out of a scout hut store room and when it left my workshop. Just as good as it was delivered by Scout Shops.
Fresh out of the Store Room.
Stuck together again.
Nearly Complete
